I grew up in the region of Charleroi in Belgium and obtained in 2011 my C.E.S.S. degree with an orientation in Math and Sciences. From 2013 to 2016, I have been studying Watchmaking and servicing at I.A.T.A in Namur.  During this period, I have been realocating my free time in horology linked work placement and reading about history of horology, practical techniques and material sciences. I was in admiration about Pierre Leroy's crisp understading of his work on Marine chronometers.

In 2015 and 2016, I was awarded the "mention spéciale" for the excellent performance in the totality of the theoretical and practical courses.
During my work placement, I have met with Marc Voisot and Emmanuel Aguila representing Atelier Chronos, a workshop specialised in the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage scientific and horological objects.

After seeing the interest I have manifested towards historical horology, my futur associates sent me to follow further studies at West Dean College i the UK.  There I would learn the deontology that is required in the field of Conservation.  In 2016 I have started the graduate course in conservation of clocks and related Objects. In 2018 I have obtained a Masters degree in Art with a disctinction for my research thesis on lubricants.

I have been awarded prices during these years : the Harold Davies price from the British Antique Dealers' Association and the Sidney Sanders Charitable Trust Price for "the excpetional performance in the Master in Conservation studies at West Dean College". In February 2019, my article on the study of the refabrication of Gold helical marine chronometer spring was published in the Horological Journal.

In parrallel to my courses, I have developped a knowledge in 3D modeling using Student licenses on Solidworks and Autodesk Fusion 360. During ths progress I have modeled Pierre Leroy's Marine watc and have been giving a short course about Fusion 360 to my pairs.

In 2019, I have joined Atelier Chronos in Dinan (Britany) as an associate and Conservator of Horological Objects and scientific Instruments. During this period, I had the opportunity to work with my associates on private collections and museum objects. There we  encountered the work of masters such as Lépine, Lepaute, Habrecht, Breguet, Robin, Janvier, etc.

In 2019, Emmanuel and I took the challenge to produce three educational animation videos for the museum Paul Dupuy in Toulouse. It was an intense learning experience where we echanged tutorials and tricks about how to work with the software Blender.

After a lack of prospection about the availability of funds during the Covide crisis, we necided to close the doors of Atelier Chronos in 2021. In 2022 I have started Vecthor to bring forward the production of 3D educational animation videos.

In 2024 I was awarded the Derek Pratt Prize by the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers of London for my contributions and innovation in the field of educational horology.
